The Rock-A-Thon Is Raising Money

All this weekend The Rock-A-Thon, sponsored by Energizer Advanced Lithium, is playing in Houston, TX to help raise donations for Child's Play Charity, which is an organization that donates toys, video games, books and cash to sick children in children's hospitals across the U.S.  They will be playing for 90 hours straight to break the world record.

For every fan that attends the event, Energizer will donate $1 to Child's Play, up to $5,000.  The event will be streamed LIVE and will start with 4 of the sixteen members playing a seven song set.  They will then play in 50 song shifts of four people.  The Rock-A-Thon will also be selling t-shirts for $25 and raffle tickets, with all proceeds benefiting Child's Play.  NOTE:  THE EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
