Hickory Farms

A few weeks ago we received a box of Hickory Farms products--it is always nice to receive food to try out.  I have to say that I have had this brand only a few times before and I know you see it all the time around Christmas, especially in malls. This gift box included three kinds of sausages, 5 different kinds of cheese, cheese spread, a cheese ball, two different kinds of mustard, and hard candy.  I must admit, I don't eat much sausage, but MH does, so this was especially nice for him.  I cut up the sausage and cheese and served with Town House crackers and some of the mustard.  Very tasty--it makes a perfect snack and doesn't make you feel like you have had too much to eat.  I took one roll of sausage, cut it up and cooked it with some broccoli and it sure did taste good.

There are a wide variety of gift boxes available at Hickory Farms.  You can decide which to purchase by either price, or category.  Most people want the meat and cheese but then others prefer the sweets, or a combination of the two.  I prefer the combination myself.  You can also purchase fruit and nuts, which is a healthy alternative.  I had to stop looking at all the selections because it was making me hungry, especially the ham and heavenly fudge.
